DENIGRATION OF HINDU GODS IS THE REAL REASON FOR ATTACK ON CHRISTIANS IN MANGALORE
The Following are the list of abuses from one such book – Satya Darshini – distributed by the missionaries of New Life. This book is in Kannada and the translation of the abusive passage is as follows.
· Urvashi – the daughter of Narayana– is a prostitute. Vashitha is the son of this prostitute. He in turn married his own Mother. Such a degraded person is the Guru of the Hindu God Rama. (page 48)
· When Krishna himself is wallowing in darkness of hell, how can he enlighten others? Since Krishna himself is a shady character, there is a need for us to liberate his misled followers. (page 50)
· It was Brahma himself who kidnapped Sita. Since Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were themselves the victims of lust, it is a sin to consider them as Gods. (page 39)
· When the Trinity of Hinduism (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) are consumed by lust and anger, how can they liberate others. Their projection as Gods is nothing but a joke. (page 39).
· When Vishnu asked Brahma to commit a sin, he immediately did so. How can such a “evil brahma” be a Creator of this Universe? How is it possible for both the sinner and the entity which provoked the sin to be gods? (page 39)
· God, please liberate the sinful people of India who are worshipping False Gods that believe in the pleasures of illicit ‘Vyabichari’ relationships. (Page 39).
2. All the 16 incidents that took place were not attack on Churches. In fact, unauthorized prayer halls were attacked where the blasphemous pamphlets were distributed and aggressive proselytisation was taking place. These 16 incidents were not localized but took place across three districts of Mangalore, Udupi and Chikmagalur.
3. The only place where attacks took place apart from New Life Prayer Halls was at a small prayer hall in the premises of Milagres Church in Mangalore, where some miscreants had damaged a Jesus idol. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the attack at this place. Following this incident, a Christian mob gathered and the situation went out of control as the mob started pelting stones and disrupting traffic. The police was forced to intervene and this resulted in unsavoury violence.
4. Since the past two days, it is not Hindu-Christian clashes that are taking place. In fact, it is more appropriate to call it”Christian-Police” clashes since the Christians holed up in Churches have engaged themselves in pelting of stones and disruption of traffic. The Police were forced to enter the Church to clear the mob and they found arms inside the Church.
5. Incidents of Stabbing were reported in around four or five places across Mangalore district. In fact, an activist belonging to Shri Ram Sena was stabbed which led to a bandh call by Shri Ram Sena – a Hindu outfit that is not connected to Sangh Parivar.
6. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the desecration of Jesus idol at the prayer hall adjacent to the Milagres Church in Mangalore. They have also clarified that they are not against the Catholic faith and the Churches. However, they have clarified that the public outcry would continue as long as illicit conversion activities and blasphemy of Hindu gods take place.
7. Even the Kandhmahal murder — which involved the killing of Hindu monk Swami Lakshmananda by missionaries – seems to have caste a shadow on this incident since the general public seems to have seen through Christian aggression.
8. It may be recalled that there was a public outcry against illegal prayer halls in Davanagere district last week. In that case, the administration had closed the unauthorized prayer halls that were mushrooming in the region.

I agree with KT Every religion needs to be understood from the right perspective.Read Bible yourself.
Christians read Hindu scriptures more and understand the nobility.It is personal experience.Hindu Philosophy is really Nice.

Only Half-knowledge people attack other Religions.
When BIBLE itself is debatable How come christians claim only their versions heard through sunday pastors is 100% true?
I am rational christian.I use Logic Read lot of Jewish scriptures and I find one thing in common Early christian translators misquoted some Jewish Scriptures.
Jesus prayed in the Jewish Tradition.HE was never a Christian.

Christians throughout the world wh go about insulting Hindus, need to have a closer look at their own Bible.
One can obtain the great debate between Ahmed Deedat & Jimmy Swaggart and see for themselves, if the bible is the their Gods word. Proof is in the Bible, that there are over 80,000 errors & full of plagriasm, and such filth that one would never read to their children or any one else. One such example is : ‘AND HIS PENIS WAS THE SIZE OF A DONKEY ” ETC.ETC.
So such violence on Christians who go about insulting Hindus and their deities, deserve it.

Bible does talk all about the rubbish and evil stuffs. It describes the real human activities as they were. It does that by explaining how people can degenerate to that low level. I do not know any thing has changed much since then. But it it is God’s intention to bring these degenerated people up and to show His unconditional Love. Please do not act as you are very pure minded. No one is a saint. Jesus says even for a moment you thought of a beautiful woman, you committed adultery in your mind.
Bible does challenge all of us.
Again, Jesus did not create a religion, He did not even ask people to worship him, He did not Baptise any one. He just said “Follow me”. Love……………..KT

Im not sure about your statistics, but even if, the central theme of Bible remains the same ie, ‘LOVE THY ENEMY”, the highest commandment of Jesus Christ.
And you wish to claim that there are filths in Holy Bible, but saying,that, the christians are reciting that filth.. Even if I were to take it for argument sake, ‘Isnt that sounding good, which sounds better than the caste hindus who make their children to recite that sanskrit sloga’s claiming Brahims to be superior OR, a madrassaite asking the young children to believe that they are assured of 72Virgins after dying for killing a hindu in mumbai terrors..

I do not understand why KD who appears to know a lot about Vedas has to use such language in his criticism. I do not think that makes him a “good” Hindu either and I am afraid he will be as bad as those Christians

These so-called believers are not understanding the right context of Christianity.Its is written that Love your God and then Love your neighbor,why they are not understanding that it is love to your neighbor which makes you different.Not the article against other religion.
Please stop this and learn to love others also.
I am sad about the Christians who condemning other religions.It is written pray for your enemy also.Why these people creating enemity among the others.
They have to think,they are not impressing anyone with those type articles.It is the god who is ultimate justice.

It is very interesting some of you are understanding the difference between Chrit and Christianity !!!! JESUS NEVER INVENTED CHRISTIANITY. To follow Jesus is not for cowards. His message was to carry the Cross ( Most cruel Device to execute people during Roman time) on our shoulders to the world and not to put the cross on a steeple and do Puja !! His own actions, not just the message or a lecture or a sermon is the ultimate universal demonstration of Love of God towards us. We need to be gracious to each other. We have our own man MK Gandhi who literally put Jessu’s Sermon on the Mount into practice and the mighty Britishers were no match for this skinny brown man wearing a just loin cloth. Jesus’s demonstration is there is STRENGTH in physical weakness. Love is the most powerful religion in this world. Just start practising Love any where you are. It will be amazing what it does.
Even in Bhagwad Geeta CH 2 verse 47 this message is hidden. All you need to do is flip the message and see for yourself.

I agree. We have been saying this all along but there are certain follower of Jesus who think that you have to be a Christian, Catholic, etc. to be saved. They are the ones not understanding that you dont have to have a certain label attached to you. If they did, then there would be no need for conversions.
The recent scandal only reveals that any holy book, commandments are crap to any individual who doesnt follow it. Religious literatures are guidelines and what one person does in their personal life is sometimes beyond anothers control. That is why I think it is wrong to blame religion for human mistakes.
God loves ALL his children and that is why I dont give a damn about people who try to preach me about theirs. Its like trying to tell me that their parents are better than mine.

Dear JFR If your mind is inclined on bad things that “other” people are doing you will keep searching and there is indeed a whole lot of down right bad and ugly things in this world. But I am not denying Evil in this world. The point is what I can do for that. Just critizing the evil and try to force morality like some people did in Mangalore is not going make you different, dharmic or Holy. Most Christians especially catholics and Hindus do not know their own scriptures, at least the basic. I guess Very few Christians understand what is Agape love. Most Hindus do not know the Beautiful verse 47 in Ch 2 in Geeta that our action is unconditional. These are all about Love and heart. When our hearts get filled with these beautiful things you think we have time searching for who did bad things ?

I have respect for all humans regardless of their religion, sex, etc. I dont think that I am capable of hating people, especially in the name of religion. I am still in the process of understanding my religion fully so I dont feel it right to make baseless alligations of anothers.
When I say that I do not give a damn about others preaching to me—I am strictly speaking about the preaching. Maybe I should have clarified that better. I respect other peoples right to choose their religious path. And I appreciate those who can understand mine and not ridicule it. Especially if they use half truths to do it.
Evil people exist in all religions. In order to move forward in life, we have to stop living in the past. Past shouldn’t be forgotten, yet at the same time it shouldnt ruin your outlook on the future. We need to start holding people accountable PERSONALLY when they are doing something wrong. Religion shouldnt be used to justify wrong doings. This only makes the true followers look bad.
We should give more publicity to the good people in society who are doing things to improve the quality of life for ALL people. Example of good works of god is a more powerful message than anything you read out of the book(s). I feel that will be the path to peace and unity.

Dear Disgusted: I do understand what you think. I used to think that way. I have changed now. My new thinking is not to pay much attention to evil stuff. As I mentioned before, Evil will be there for ever. BUT in this world there is lot more good than bad things. Let us concentrate on good things. Let us stop criticize converters, preachers, politicians, Westerners, etc.. In the eyes of God all it matters is What each one can do. How each one of us can make a differece in this life. How can each change or make an impact in this world following our individual Swadharma. ( Geeta Ch 2 Verse 47 )
