Replies to abuses in Satyadarshini
Several of the respondents in this website asked me to give a befitting reply to the abuse of Hindu Gods in the book “Satyadarshini”. So, I am giving a Hindu response to the Christian abuse.
Abuse No. 1: Urvashi – the daughter of Narayana– is a prostitute. Vashitha is the son of this prostitute. He in turn married his own Mother. Such a degraded person is the Guru of the Hindu God Rama. (page 48)
Urvashi is not a prostitute. She is a celestial nymph. Secondly Vasistha was one of the Saptarishis (Seven Great Sages Rishi) in the seventh, i.e the present Manvantara,[1] and the Rajpurohit / Rajguru of the Suryavamsha or Solar Dynasty. He was the manasaputra of Brahma. He had in his possession the divine cow Kamadhenu, and Nandini her child, who could grant anything to their owners.
Vashisht is credited as the chief author of Mandala 7 of the Rigveda. Vashisht and his family are glorified in RV 7.33, extolling their role in the Battle of the Ten Kings, making him the only mortal besides Bhavayavya to have a Rigvedic hymn dedicated to him. Another immortal treatise dedicated by him to the humanity is “Vashisht Samhita” – a book on Vedic system of electional astrology (Muhurtha/ Muhurt)- based on which theory & principles of electional astrology have emanated & followed through millenniums & which have withstood test of the time.
Abuse no. 2: When Krishna himself is wallowing in darkness of hell, how can he enlighten others? Since Krishna himself is a shady character, there is a need for us to liberate his misled followers. (page 50)
Lord Krishna is considerd as an Avatar in Hindu pantheon. He is supposed to have lived around 5,200 years ago. Accordingly, he is supposed to reincarnate whenever adharma increases. There is no reference anywhere which says that he is in hell. I wonder, what divine wisdom the missionaries have when they can see somebody wallowing in hell.
Abuse no. 3: t was Brahma himself who kidnapped Sita. Since Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were themselves the victims of lust, it is a sin to consider them as Gods. (page 39)
First of all, Ramayana can be interpreted anyway you want. In fact, the world is a divine illusion. Secondly, creation needs lust. Even the divine missionaries are a product of lust. Everyone has doubts about immaculate conception. I wonder how Jesus was born without pregnancy. It is all fancy stuff. Is it not?
Abuse No. 4: When the Trinity of Hinduism (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) are consumed by lust and anger, how can they liberate others. Their projection as Gods is nothing but a joke. (page 39).
Hinduism is not a single prophet/single book cult like Islam and Christianity. There are 84 schools of thoughts in Hinduism – of which even atheism is a part. Then there are other concepts like duality, non-duality and achintabheda tattwa (where the soul is neither dual nor non-dual). In Hinduism, worship and liberation is a personal affair. Nobody has the right to interefere in other’s mode of worship. There is something called as Vyakti Dharma. It is highly personal. No conversions and interference please.
Abuse No.5: Vishnu asked Brahma to commit a sin, he immediately did so. How can such a “evil brahma” be a Creator of this Universe? How is it possible for both the sinner and the entity which provoked the sin to be gods? (page 39)
First of all, there is no sin and no sinner. Sin is a Christian concept. Majority of Hindus consider the universe as leela (divine play). Though there are other variations too, most of the Hindus have pantheistic overtones. They don’t differentiate between the creator and the creation. Most of the Hindus are believers in oneness and pantheism. Note, it is not monotheism of the zealous semitic Gods.
Abuse No. 6: God, please liberate the sinful people of India who are worshipping False Gods that believe in the pleasures of illicit ‘Vyabichari’ relationships. (Page 39).
Swami Vivekananda described the people of India as children of immortality. (Amritasya Putraha). These are the lines from the Upanishads. The soul is not a sinner. It is a spark of the universal divinity. So there is no question of liberating sinners because sin does not exist in the first place. As for the so called “Vyabichar”, it is simple logic to say that the world would stop without sex. Sex is nothing but nature’s mechanism to ensure that individuals reproduce. In fact, we have a deity for sex (Kamadeva or Cupid) in Hinduism. Per se, sex is natural. However, Victorian sensibilities ensure that a lot of guilt is associated with it.

Thanks to the intellectual revolution, Christianity was ripped apart in Europe. Most of the Europeans are now atheists or Christians for namesake.
I have respect for Jesus Christ and his teachings but I strongly condemn the theology associated with his teaching., i.e Christianity.
Whole world knows the barbarism of Christianity and Islam. Kindly read the History of Europe. It was the church which kept the whole European world in darkness for a millennium till renaissance period. Aren’t you aware of what happened to Galileo and other intellectuals before renaissance?

I appreciate your efforts in dispelling the gospel spread by Satyadarshini.
All the holy books are vulnerable to interpretation by each one in his own way. There is no point in discussing with those who have perverted thoughts about Hindusim.
With your good wisdom and knowledge, could you or someone study the dirty bible, which I understand is full of infidelity and hatredness against sinners, bring out similar points as Satyadarshini. We will reply venom with venom. Peace for venom will not work

Nobody questioned the sacrifice of jesus. Ancient Indian scriptures (Bhvishya Puran) predicted about Isha-Masih ( Jesus Christ). But I thought and you wrote also that jesus Was about love. Where is love in this abuse quoted from Satyadarshini. Are you suggesting that Jesus the son of God is being revered as savior of the word because he preached to insult the faith of others ? Are you saying that jesus spread the message of hate ?When you write ” His disciple came to India and performed many miracles in His name(even rising dead people)… ” then please tell me why any Christian dies . Why not all Christians are resurrected once they die. Thus No Christian will ever die because Jesus will resurrect him. Com out of Blind faith mate.

They treat poors and then offer them money if they convert. They teach them free in the missionary schools if they convert.
You do not understand the basics of Sanatan Dharma which is based on the principles of mutual respect for all. The principle of Vasudhaaev kutumkam meaning the whole world is a family. And you think if you abuse Gita or Vedas you are promoting something Good ?
Sanatan Dharma or now a days mainly known as Hinduism is not just a relegion it is a way of life which is based on Mutual Co existance and this is the reason why even after thousands of years ( Historians agree at least 7000 years old though we believe it is far older) and even after facing so much of invasions Hinduism is still alive and prospering.
Christianity hardly a 2000 year old religion wish to teach us?
Why should we go to Chriest the son of God when we already are with the Supreme Lord himself. You have to understand the Gita ( not just read it).

What exactly is the meaning of Ramarajya?
Then you will not have place for varna system is society, if the above concepts are understood and implemented properly in present day society, which our Brahmins don’t want to happen.
Today’s modern world needs definition not the blanket statement. Sanatana dharma is the oldest dharma and should have answers for all, instead our Great Kamat is engaged in road side fight with Young Chirstian and Muslim religions. What a pity. His answers are vague and foolish. He is a typical Brahmin.

Sunil, Thanks for opening this up. To start with, Bhavishya Purana is not ancient, obviously. It is a cooked up Purana that was written after the start of Christianity or even after the Portugese came to India. This is the story of many a puranas, when people kept adding stories as the situation fits them. This is exactly why Satyadarshini is ‘attacking” these ‘puranas’. The Hindu high priests or any great Pundit should have done these “selection” of what is right and wrong long time ago. This is what Christian early church councils did many centuries ago. When bad “weeds” sprout they need to be taken out.
No, but because of a “system problem” of Hinduism so called SD, different philosophis and different “ways” to reach god crept up. Now you are touting this as SD’s “strength”. No, people who see truth as “straight and narrow’ cannot take this multifaced dragon of a philosophy. I am not putting you down. But may be high priests of Hinduism like Kanch Mutt should do an introspection and weed out the unwanted. Problem is that Indians do not fix problems in the wetsern way. We see it everyday – from daily life.. bribes, dangers of driviing in overcrowded street, bas politics.
Truth is that it is our nature to “absorb” the problem instead of thinking about it and “fixing” it. It is not Christinity or Islam’s fault that those religion to follow a narrow path. We believe truth is a narrow path. Do you get it? All along this blog this is what I am trying to convey. I am not saying Hindusim is bad or Hindus are bad. I think Hinduism should just take a seriously narrow path, shedding the unwanted things like Casteism, Brahminism, diefication of every othe r person and idol that comes along. Of course to do introspection, you may have to stop attacking the minorities as a start.

May be some missionaris could be aggressive about their goals. But it is pure propaganda that they “entice” people into converting. This was exactly the basis on which a lot of states have passed the anti-secular laws of anticonversion bills. Why did n’t the Brahmins start serving the poor and the Dalis and the tribals before Missionaries reached these backward areas? Why are your swamis making round in Europe and USA instead of helipng out the tribals? May be your organizations are doing it now. But it did not happen till Missionaries started working? Everybody can see through it. Is it such a crime that they work among these people to improve their life and at the same time people taking up Christian faith because the missionaries were good to them/
You know what? It is not easy to wake up somebody who is pretending to be sleeping.

CLEARLY YOU HAVE NOT READ GITA OR BIBLE. PROBABLY THERE IS ONE BOOK IN BIBLE WHICH IS COMPARABLE TO GITA.. WHICH IS BOOK OF JOB. BOTH THESE BOOKS ARE DISCUSSIONS AND DISCOURSE. THEY DO NOT GIVE A FINAL ANSWER TO TH E PROBLEMS YOU FACE EVERYDAY.

I don’t see any thing wrong in that book. You first really look for god and then only read the book. When you really really look for God, you will know how truth the book is. If this book hurts any of you, I am sorry and truth always hard to digest. I am also born hindu, I went through all these pains before accepting Jesus. Once you believe in Jesus, you don’t need any other god. First we should know hindu vedas, if it is really ruju veda and our puranas says what exactly satyadarshini says, we should accept jesus. He is the best god.

Satyadarshini says that bible, vedas and puranas says that Jesus is the son of God. He is the only to reach the heaven. That what they are saying nothing else. Why don’t our hindus try to find the truth. Our Hindus are not confident about what they believe in. We don’t have one god, we worship stones animals and trees. Has any one ever think about that. We should confess that we never looked for a real god. Only one thing we can do is we have nearly one billion people, we can kill innocent christians and attack on poor nuns. If we are confident about our gods and our religion no body can destroy our religion. Attacking on churches and pastors and innocent nuns clearly says that we are insecure about our religion and no belief in our gods. Just think about it my hindu friends. We should give equal opportunities all religions.

1. Vaudhaeve kutumakam-It defines that whole earth is a big family
2. Amritasya putra- The son of immortal
3. Ramrajya- An idia where everyone is happy, prosperus, justice prevails
Yes it is one of the oldest religion and yes it has the problem of varna(Jati)like every religion has some at one point of time and other at another point of time. The reason being that over a period when people become used to it, it becomes painful to introspect. Also those in- charge of relegions Brahmans for Hindus, Imams for muslim, vetican for christians find it difficult to let the power go from there hand. It is not very surprising that after rejecting Galilio and Darwin in their time now centuries later vatican is coming up with apologies and acceptance. It is pity but is a fact.
Now regarding all the scriptures. These are all scriptures and I do not belive that that any of them is “Word of God”. These were philosphy,knowledge combined with some history and belifs of those times which with the passage of time are proving useless and wrong. If you want to find absurdity you can find if you want to get some good ideas/philosphy you can find. Dont you see many absurditie in Christianity and Islam ?
Islam and christianity are two semetic religions and historically were always in race to have more belivers. What Islam did by the sword(terror) christianity does on the basis of compassion but in its zeal is not averse to create confusion and spreading lies and misinformation. I have no objection if a learned person changes his relegion. We are free to take the relegion of our choice. But most of the conversions christians missionaries are doing in interior is of people who do not understand what their relegion is or what christianty is. Such half baked truth alongwith bait of monetary gains is what hurts. It is similar to what politicians do to get votes of illiterate and or poor people. It is what is called corruption. And currption is bad wheather in social /economic life or in relegion.
One wrong does nt make other wrong right.

2. If Kamat is a great man, he shd be praised or rewarded on that name . Thus the creator shd be worshipped with His Name.
3. “SARWA PAPA PARIHARO RAKTHA PROKSHANAM AVASHYAM THAD RAKTHA PARAMATMENA PONYADANA BALIYAGAM” . For this, Lord Jesus came to world and to wash ur sins he was crucified.
4. if u r confused, there is a simple way . just keep fasting and ask sincerely ”OOH God, I am confused .Plz help me to find u. show me who u r”. Thus all your questions will be answered. Ask with ur Whole heart n sincerely. Then reveal ur answers to every one.

So right Moses, my dear brother in Christ. These Hindu heathens will accept that Jesus is the truth and everything else is false. They will have to bow to Jesus, for he died for these heathens’ sins as well, even though he did undeaden himself. These Hindu heathens have not heard about the concept of original sin – which was Eve eating an apple off a tree when a talking snake told her to. You should have thought that the sonofabitch Biblegod would forgive an apple – but he does not. So right my brother in Christ. By the way did you pay your pastor 10% of what you earned this month like a good Christian ? Paid your tithe ? (This is the reason that drives the churches – money).

Biblegod did not give anyone any knowledge. In fact, he forbade Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of knowledge and Eve disobeyed him and ate the apple. Then she became conscious of her sexuality and tried to cover herself but the Biblegod was angry not because Eve ate the apple, but because he was getting a kick out of watching nude Eve and Adam. The source of all this information is the Bible and the Bible proves that Biblegod is bisexual and gets his kicks by watching naked women as well as men.

-HOMOSEXUALS (this is generally the most important enemy of the fundie)
-people who have sex before marriage
-people who are not white
-members of any cult other than that of the fundie in question
-immigrants

A scripture from
Devibhagavatham states that ‘Janma lagayetha sudram karma dedena
dhvijham’.,
meaning all the human beings are sinners by birth and go on accumulating the sin by
their wrong deeds.

Manusmruthi says like this ‘Papoham papakarmaha papathma papa
sambhava pahimam krupaya deva sharanagatha vatsala’
meaning Oh! God the creator! With the
sin of birth and with the accumulated sin of wrong deeds we are completely submerged / covered
by sin. Borne in sin, grown up with sin and dying in sin Oh! God almighty help us to come out of
this sin. Show us the exact way to come out of this sin.

‘Asathoma
sasdgamaya thamasoma jyothirgamaya mruthyoma amruthangamaya” Om shanthi shanthi
’.
Meaning Oh! God we have no peace in our lives give us your Peace. We are in darkness bring us to
light and truth. Save us from this hell (eternal I death) and give us the heaven (eternal life).

2. He should have both humanity and divinity
3. He should be hung to a wooden post
4. He should wear piercing nails / thorns on his head
5. He should be nailed on the both hands and legs to a wooden post or cross.
6. The silk cloths covering him should be shared between four people after yazna
7. No bone of the sacrificial animal should be broken at any time.
8. He should rise from the death after the sacrifice.
9. He should take bitter tonic to drink during the sacrifice. 10
People should eat his flesh for the deliverance from the sin.
Dear reader, if you carefully read the bible all the above Vedic sacrificial requirements
are completely fulfilled by Jesus
