Schoolgirl commits suicide
MANGALORE: A 15-year-old schoolgirl hanged herself to death at Mulky in Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday morning after she was publicly humiliated by a suspected Hindutva fringe group, according to eyewitness accounts. Superintendent of Police N. Sathish Kumar, however, denied the involvement of any group in her death. According to Rafique, a helper in a bus, the victim and another girl boarded the bus at Kinnigoli village at 12 noon on Tuesday. The girls, both students of the Aikala PU College, got off at Moodbidri along with Abdul Salim, with whom one of the girls was friendly. As they were walking towards Venoor, a group of suspected Hindutva youths allegedly accosted them. The girls were berated for being friendly with someone from another religion and all the three were beaten up. The bus, on its return journey, was stopped by another group that dragged Rafique out and thrashed him. He was taken to the place where Salim and the girls were held. The captors then called Moodbidri SI Bharathi G., who took the four to the police station. The parents of one of the girls were summoned and Salim was allegedly forced to write a letter of apology. The girl and her family were said to have been humiliated at the station by a mob. The next morning, the girl committed suicide. After her death, Salim was arrested following a complaint by her father of rape and abetting in the suicide of a minor.

Hindus, unlike Christians, Islamics, and Jews do not broadcast religious propaganda or force any of their followers to walk a moral tight rope by means of brain washing prophesies or hellfire and brimstone threats. If one chooses to convert to Hinduism they will find the religion on their own accord and begin to live the Hindu culture at their own pace. As long as one keeps in mind dharma(moral laws) and karma(the concept that what one does will be done to them).

But the recent insult at the hands of Duryodhana and Karna was fresh in the mind of Draupadi. She had also not forgotten scornful laughter of Dhritarashtra and Shakuni. All these memories made Draupadi emotional and angry. Opening her heart to the Lord, she said in anguish:
“O Krishna, how is it that this Draupadi, sister of the Lord of Universe and wife of five brave, powerful and invincible Pandavas has to go through such horrible time? Was that not their duty to protect me and punish the miscreants? Was that fair on the part of Dhritarashtra to allow Dushasana to drag me by hair and attempt to remove my only clothing? Does Yudhisthira has right to put me at stake when he himself had become slave of Duryodhana? And even if the husband becomes slave does he lose right to come to the rescue of his wife; does he lose the right to protect the honour of his wife?”
The barrage of questions affected Sri Krishna Intensely. With due seriousness he proclaimed, “O dear sister, do not grieve. I promise you that every Kaurava woman would shed more tears than what you have shed; for the non-righteous Kauravas and their supporters in this shameful act are sure to perish at the hands of Pandavas very soon.”

One more thing of interest was told by Sri Krishna. He said that had he been there in the court of Dhritarashtra during the game of dice, he would not have allowed the game in the first place. He would have impressed upon everyone, including Bhishma and Dhritarashtra, how gambling leads to total corruption and degeneration of the race. He would have forcefully prohibited Duryodhana from engaging in such vice. Gambling, smoking, drinking, hunting, and prostitution are the curse on humanity which every righteous person should labour to avoid. The persons who engage in these acts are doomed to destruction and moral death.

Not having morals as back bone is not a plus point as ou seems to believe. that is the reason sri rama sene went into rampage. who will guide these people and tell them what is right and what is wrong?. every one has his own ways of right and wrong and if hinduism will be followed as a way of code then there would be anarchy and blood shed. I told them and they asked what is daily rent of that hotel. I said 1200/- per day. They replied they stayed for 200/- in madurai. I told that kind of hotel also available but cleanness may not be as good. They said no problem, we were taking for long time, Finally I invited my home they come and had breakfast with me. When I said that if I come to Italy, told him that I will drop him to their house. They never invited me they never intern intend to give their address to me. It is not that I will go Italy but this is their way of life. But I be a good salaried person even if you take a Indian who live in hut they will also offer to adithi guest in good manner please don’t compare India to any other country. Because of your change of identity, might have forgotten some dharm because of cultural differences. But no meaning to say that India has lost not at all.

You have mis-understood the whole point i am trying to say.
was saying about the general degradation of hinduism because of its lack of moral backing which some of the other bloggers seem to take it as a plus point instead of being negative.
And because of this fanatics have the notion of thinking that they are doing it right and though hinduism needs to be protected the path they trod wil destroy it even further. Here i pointed out your fault. no pominent swami has come forward to guide hindus which is right and every one following his own way. That is why i said if we follow hindu code of conduct in our legal system then it would be nothing but anarchy and blood shed. By keeping silent and not voicing for what is right these swamis are pushing hinduism further into darkness.
We find these fanatics burning chruches, beating women, killing missionaries and what not all in the name of krishna and ram. who is the loser here? definetly hinduism.

Yudishtra’s ego is the reason that he fell into the traps of the Kauravas. Yudhistra knew gambling was immoral yet he did because he felt his manhood was being challenged. Moral: Learn to control your ego for you never know what you might end up loosing.
Here krishna supports the gamblers and promises action against kauravas.
Krishna never supported the Pandvas deceitful act of gambling. Maybe, I didnt make it clear the first time. Yudishtra failed to make the same mistake twice and as a result the Pandvas were placed in exile for 12 years + 1 year to live incognito. If they were detected in the last year, they would need to go to exile again for another 12 years. Krishna felt this is sufficient punishment for the Pandvas.
Draupadi joined the Pandvas in exile. She still wanted revenge for the humiliation that she faced. And at the end of the war, Draupadi saw what had happened and she broke down in tears. Draupadi had lived long years of intense agony but at last when happiness seemed near, she lost all her sons.
Moral: Revenge is not always the right answer.
Take yourself in that position. If you were to gamble and sell your mother to others and after they used her why blame them and call krishna?
The moral of the story is NOT TO GAMBLE in the first place!

I highly think not! When no one was willing to help Draupadi, she prayed to the Lord and he appeared to help her immediately. He came at a moment’s notice when she called him for help. Draupadi’s devotion and belief in the lord is what Hindus remember her by. Moral: If one has faith in the lord and calls upon him in deep distress, the Lord always helps.

Special instructions to breed atleast 4 kids have also been given. If the target won’t get trapped within first 2 weeks, they are instructed to leave them and move on to another girl.
College students and working girls should be the prime target. Once completed their mission the organisation will give 1 lakh Rupees and Financial help for the youth to start business. Free Mobile Phone, Bikes and Fashionable dresses are offered to them as tools for the mission.

Three convicted in SME ragging case

Special Court judge K Sasidharan Nair of Kottayam on Wednesday pronounced guilty first three of the total nine accused in the case relating to the sexual abuse of a junior Nursing girl student at the School of Medical Education (SME) at Arupukkara. The punishment for the convicted trio would be announced on Thursday.
The court concluded that final-year nursing students Ranjith Varghese of Kollam, Sherin of Muvattupuzha and Shefeeq Yusuf from Athirampuzha. First, second and third accused respectively, had abused the girl sexually in the name of ragging. The crime was committed on October 21, 2005. The judge observed that the crime of the convicts included gang rape. The other six accused were acquitted for want of convincing evidence.
Legal experts said that the court had found the accused guilty under Sections 376 and 342 and the Act against ragging in colleges. They said the trio could be punished up to ten years in prison. They pointed out that ragging itself was seen by Judiciary as a horrible crime and the offence here included rape as well. The trial in the case had started on October 21, 2008, exactly three years since the day the crime was committed.
The nine persons accused in the case had included students, college authorities and even a doctor outside the college. The other accused in the case were nursing students Ashley Varghese, Robin Paul and Dibin Philip Perumal, KM Mariyam, then principal of the SME Nursing College, Dr Muraleedharan Nair, former director, SME and Dr Saibunnisa Beevi, head of the department of psychiatry, Medical College Hospital, Kottayam.
Prime accused Renjith Varghese and the other accused students, Sherin, Shafeeq Yusuf, Ashley Varghese, Robin Paul and Dibin Philip were charged for illegal confinement, molestation, procuring a girl for rape, administration of psychotropic substance, gang-rape and criminal intimidation. They have also been charged under Section 4 of the Kerala Prohibition of Ragging Act.
Twenty-seven witnesses were examined by the Prosecution in the case while thriy exhibits were produced in the court. There were 32 documents and the defendants examined seven witnesses. There were a total of 115 witnesses.
According to the prosecution, a few male students of the School of Medical Education had sexually tortured and gang-raped a first-year girl student in the name of ragging in an isolated laboratory at the institution on October 21, 2005. The authorities concerned had allegedly tried to keep the incident as a secret, the Prosecution charged.
The case was probed by a team headed by Vinod Kumar, who was now DYSP, internal security, State Special Branch, Thrissur. Though the chargesheet in the case was filed on January 17, 2006, the trial of the case could be started only on October 21, 2008 due to various reasons. The Special Court was scheduled to pronounce the verdict on Tuesday but it was deferred to Wednesday as the preparation of the judgement was not complete.
Special Prosecutor G Mohanraj appeared for the Prosecution while MK Damodaran, Pius Kottam, Ajithkumar, PK Chithrbhanu, Sureshbabu Thomas, Thomas Mathew, CS Ajayan, Balagovindan and Anandapadmanabhan represented the defendants as counsles.
After the pronouncement of the verdict, Public Prosecutor Mohanraj said he was satisfied with the judgement. He said the Proseuction had succeeded in establishing that the accused had committed rape.
“The important contention of the Prosecution was that there had been rape. Ragging is a crime indeed but it is not as serious as rape. Now the court has found the accused guilty of rape. We hope they would get punishment which would be a model,” Mohanraj said.
Gopi, father of the girl said he was relieved to hear the judgement. He hoped that the judgement would serve as a deterrent to such crimes in the future.
Meanwhile, the counsel for co-accused Dr Muraleedharan Nair said after the pronouncement of the verdict that he file damage petition against the Government now that he had been acquitted. “My client was a reputed Government servant who had out in 26 years of service for the people.
He does not deserve to be treated like this. Now the court has found that there has been no evidence to prove his involvement in the case. We will approach the court,” the counsel said.

In a move that may ruffle feathers, the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh[Images] has decided to remove a chapter on noted painter M F Hussain from an NCERT book, claiming his work has “nothing to inspire students“.
“The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has decided to remove chapter on MF Hussain from standard XI Hindi book prescribed by the NCERT,” board chairman C L Gupta told PTI. Gupta said instead of the chapter on Hussain “which has nothing to inspire the students,” the board is considering including a chapter on painter Sobha Singh and ‘Missile Man’ and former President APJ Abdul Kalam [Images] from next academic session.
He said the decision in this regard has been taken on the recommendation of a committee constituted by the board. Gupta, who has been accused by the opposition Congress of having ’saffron leanings’, said he himself perused the works of Hussain, including his controversial paintings of Hindu deities.

State police offers are investigating the veracity of allegations that extremists lure young women away from their families and then force them to convert to another religion.
According to a confidential report by the Kerala police’s intelligence wing, approximately 920 girls have gone missing in the last year.
The matter came to light when two MBA students from Pathanamthitta district in Kerala went missing and were later located at a religious centre in north Kerala. The women were said to be involved in relationships with senior students and planned to convert to another religion.
Police sources claimed the men belonged to a controversial organisation, which is constantly monitored by state intelligence agencies.
Many of the women who have gone missing in the last year hail from affluent families.
