FOR THE LATEST IN ENLIGHTENMENT

swami1

I was a hardcore J Krishnamurthy/Osho freak right from my college days and my desire for spiritual fiction/reality only grew by the day.  Though I never met JK and Osho in flesh and blood, I had the privilege of meeting  and talking with several ‘enlightened’ persons of our times.

During the recent past, I enjoyed reading UG Krishnamurthy, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Sai Baba, Amruthananda Mayi, Ramesh Balshekar and Douglas Harding.  I narrowly missed meeting U G Krishnamurthy who died in 2007.  However, I have met Sai Baba, Sri Sri and Amruthananda Mayi and I did feel pleasant vibes with them.  Having said this, I must say that I never felt that they were my spiritual masters.  Nevertheless I do like meeting them.  As for my serious spiritual initiation, I was initiated by Gurinder Singh Dhillon (Radha Soami Satsang, Beas) in the year 2000 at Mumbai.  I can never forget that day as I could see a beam of light emerging from the Master’s eye during initiation.

Recently, I had been to Bidadi in Bangalore to visit Sri Nityananda Paramahamsa. I could not meet him.  But I was reading his books and I could vibe with his thoughts.  His books have succeeded in removing several of my mental blocks.  I am still reading his books.  I will meet him soon enough.

For those who don’t know Nityananda Paramahamsa, he is the youngest enlightened master of our times.  He is only 31 years now and was enlightened 10 years ago in Tiruvanamalai near Ramana Ashrama.  I can’t vouch for his enlightenment since I don’t know him from a close angle.  But I can vouch for his books — they are simply fantastic.  For the latest in enlightenment, click here: http://www.dhyanapeetam.org/web/default.asp

    Nityananda Paramahamsa is not enlightened
yes he is copying Osho meditations word by word and is not even taking Osho name.
No need to trust my words just go to a book store and pick up his book on meditation techniques.

Only hard work he has done is to change the name of technique… rest all is same in the technique

“Nityananda Paramahamsa is not enlightened” –

LOL – age old fight of authenticity of masters, explanations of enlightment, ‘prepared’ followers, who is better, which method works, mine is better that yours – cut the crap!

You are as complete as anything can be, world is as perfect as it can be, your happiness is just with you!

Is it true that people only love to be herd?

    @ Shiva,

I did feel that Nitya is a copycat of Osho.

Even if he is a copycat, he is good at teh game.

Dear Shiva / Deepak I do not know about nityanand paramhansa and hence do not know if he is enlightened or not. but i feel, that an enlightened person will always be authentic. there is nothing wrong in copying the techniques from osho, but them one must always acknowledge the original source. for all the meditation techniques, osho developed, he always acknowledge the original source of the technique. even though, osho did major innovation and that technique evolved, but he still acknowledged the original context of that techniques. If you want to meet living enlightened masters, please meet oshodhara founder “soho siddhartha ji” http://www.oshodhara.org.in

i agree with you, if he is enlightened then he should be authentic also and that was the stand which i took on this issue

     Deepak
yes i agree with u, he is good in game and there are many more like him bcoz people wants a guru – no matter he is enlightened or not.

    Kabir
its not nice to use such words with out having a look at the work the swami nityanand is doing. You may not realize the harm these fake gurus does and how they make their life worse. Its easy to write in such forums but very difficult when some thing happens in ur own life. next time be careful or u r heading for a trouble. talk straight, give some logic what is the point in making such funny remarks???

    Sunjay Says:

What we Hindus are facing currently is essentially a spiritual crisis, and those individuals (Gurus you have mentioned) simply exemplify this, let me elaborate on this, you have taken names of a few “spiritual masters”, now how many of them call themselves Hindu? Most if not all of them are secularists, preaching oneness of all religions, a common chant among them is Ishwar, Allah, God are all one and that we are all worshiping the same God under different names, that might be the case but religions are more than name of ones God, religions differ vastly on theology, philosophy, ethics and morality. What those individuals are doing is simply marketing themselves and to attract foreginers they have to disown the “H” word. But the damage that is being done on Hindu society is immense, if all religions are equal than why should a Hindu Not convert to another religion? What else could be the reason that in case of a interreligious marrige, mostly it is the Hindu spouse that converts, because for a Muslim or a Christain his is the only True religion. It is high time for us to get rid of such secularist Gurus.

    Deepak Kamat Says:

    @ Sunjay,

To a certain extent  I agreewith you.

But the domain of these Gurus are different.

They better  concentrate on Spirituality wiht a Capital S without being ashamed of the H word.

    Vijayalakshmi Says:

Hinduism is the ideal religion for the whole world, because it preaches that the whole world is one family, and prays for the well-being of all living beings of the whole world. It is probably true that we all worship the same Supreme Being by calling Him/Her by different names and attributes. We Hindus actually have no problem with any person of another religion, but the other religionists(muslims and christians) insist theirs is the only true religion and others are all ‘bakwas’.The problem originated in this rigid mindset. Hindus respect other religions and in all fairness, their sentiments should also be honoured, but this is not the case. There are conversions to the desert religions by coercion, under duress, by false promises etc. which no State should encourage. Why should a secular State single out a particular community to grant religious subsidies, which is discriminatory against other citizens? If objected, Hindus are demonised, with the Media siding the ‘adharmis’ for their own vested interests. Most of the political parties and NGOs are no better. This is “Kaliyug”, where people are supporting ‘adharma’. Our sadhus and sanyasis are preaching what they believe in. It is the vicious desert religionists who are deviating from ‘Dharma’, because they do not believe in it. So ’secularism’ should be preached to them, and not to Hindus. All right-thinking people must raise their voice against the injustices meted to the Hindus by the Govt if real communal harmony is to prevail. I have heard and read the teachings of many spiritual Gurus. Each and every one of them is unique. One should never compare divinities. Our religious texts say that every Soul is potentially Divine, and teach us to uplift ourselves spiritually. It is Sanatana Dharma that will spread World Peace and therefore the teachings of this Dharma should be followed by the Govt in the best interests of all the people.
