Articles on Wendy Doniger and dialogue b/n SriSri and SIMI are good in this issue. However on WendyDoniger Sandeep, I feel, went very soft in the rejoinder. Wendy Doniger and her ilk there at the RISA should undergo some psychoanalysis before they write anything on everything they see. Why this is required is because she is one who sees ‘eroticism’ in everything she stumbles upon. Rajeev Malhotra and Aditi Banerjee perfectly match her in paying her with the same coin. If interested please go through the articles and critical reviews by Aditi Banerjee of Wendy and her ‘children’. Also Kalavai Venkat has ripped of her shoddy scholarship in his own style. Why, even the well-known Harvard Sanskrit professor Michael Witzel (who is well known by now for his derogatory statements towards the Indian Americans, but who atleast is acquainted with Sanskrit for years) has criticised her stupid translation of RgVeda. But one thing that deeply concerns here is that this shoddy scholarship is being rewarded with highest accolades.

my sincere request to SriSri is to keep away from these kinds of talks for his own good. We all know what happened with Swami Shraddhananda
