WHY THIS FETISH FOR BRAHMACHARYA? SWAMY NITHY CAUGHT IN SEX STING OPS
So Nityananda Paramahamsa was caught in a sting operation involving a film star (prostitute). SUN TV claims he was high on WWW (Wealth, Wine and Women).
As I said earlier in my other posts, this docile brahmacharya and ahimsa is the cause of Hindu downfall.
Now Nithy is a young man (just 32 year old). Why do we expect a studbull to be an impotent docile creature. Studbulls are expected to give some hard knocks.
Sexual repression is unnatural. Somehow sexual repression is seen as respectable in Hindu society. I don’t agree. I am all with Osho Rajneesh. I am — of course — not advising or expecting a sexual orgy in Hindu society.
Sex has to be seen in its proper perspective. It is one of the navarasas (nine emotions). Freud says that 99 percent of human problems have its origin in sexuality. I disagree.
Yes, sex is a basic instinct that needs to be transcended. But we cannot expect a green mango to turn yellow-ripe overnight. Is it not?
Accept yourself as you are. You cannot be what you are not. I wish some Tamil film actress comes to massage my feet. Even I will do what Swamiji did. What’s wrong?
Postscript: Even Swami Vivekananda was against repression. He was all for sublimation.

But how do you explain a RSS pracharak, who has dedicated his life for the country and has to keep away from pleasures of the flesh ?

I don’t have any problems with natural brahmacharis. They can do so if they want to.
Regarding RSS Pracharak or Padres or Mullahs (who have taken the oaths of celibacy as the case may be), it is their personal problem — that is none of my business.
Besides, a RSS Pracharak can resign from his post anytime. There are cases where RSS Pracharaks have stepped down as Pracharaks and have continued with their family life. The RSS does not bind its pracharak in any way.
Even I was one for about an year. Even I maintained brahmacharya. It’s a good practice — once in a while.
FYI, RSS Saranghachallak Mohan Bhagwat is the son of a RSS Pracharak (who resigned and later led a grihistha jeevana). It is also not necesssary that a pracharak should be bachelor. There are many RSS Pracharaks who are married.
it is not necessary that you should serve the nation as a bachelor. You can serve the nation or humanity even as a married man.
Be true to yourself.

Deepak, Im glad you brought this up because I’ve come across many good intentioned Hindus who preach to be a good Hindu you should be celibate even in marriage but only have sex when you want to children..See the problem lies in misunderstanding Hinduism where hindus have confused the dharma of what some swamis or gurus or sadhus follow as being mainstream dharma for the rest of Hindu society.They dont understand ones nature is different so we cant push the rules and regulations set for the Hindus who take up an ascetic lifestyle because thats their nature to do so..Vaishnavism also played a big part in this as well because as Buddhism started to fade away many of the followers took to Vaishnava beliefs but brought in with them residues of Bhuddhist monistic beliefs like celibacy and ahimsa which later on become part of more mainstream hinduism.So during the British Raj which was based on victorian values of morality where Sex was seen as being degenerate (even though they indulged in it all the time) influenced modern Hindu thought .But From a Hindu perspective sex is not seen as perversion but a spiritual experience between husband and wife and should not be seen as an obstacle in Hindu activism. I know people who through surpressing their sexual nature have become unstable and angry most of the time..Even Our great Rishis of the past had wives and children..I think Hindus need to look at Hinduism through Hindus for a change..

Well the only problem we do have is that these swamis and gurus who creat a false image of themselves to the public bring Hinduism down with them when scandals like these come into the open.These guys should get married to a woman or 2 to keep their urges under control and then continue with their Hindu work..Ive induldge in sex with different women over the years but im not going to then claim im some great swami or Hindu who is celibate to fool the people .And i will continue with my Hindu activism regardless of my personal life..

Deeper understanding of our consciousness gives us Bramhacharya naturally. This is the case when staying into grihastha ashrama a human still remains bramhachaari.
This experience in internal. It is not some external imposition of any rules. Instead of turning outside, you need to turn inside. When your conscience is clear and united to primordial consciousness, bramhacharya occurs naturally. If you forcefully curb your desires, it is just like declining one of the prime strings of life. Instead of understanding it properly, you are trying to hide from it and run away from it.
The central quest of Indian civilization is enlightenment. It is towards this goal that the ancient sages explored consciousness, and set out in quest of understanding the mysterious experience called life.
One of the most astounding definitions of life’s purpose was arrived at in this land by the sages. They called it – the four purusharthas, or the fourfold purpose of life. Artha(creating Wealth), Kama(fulfilment of Desires), Dharma (an expand in state of self where you are involved in helping a larger cause) , Moksha (the ultimate dissolution of the individual entity into the cosmic being).
Each one of these were never an end in itself.
1. Artha(creating Wealth) - You created wealth, in order to earn the good merit – so it will help you in the hereafter.
2. Kama(fulfilment of Desires) - You fulfill your desires, got married and begot children. So they will pray for you to move into the higher worlds, after you leave your mortal coil.
3. Dharma (sewa or helping a larger cause)- You indulge in service oriented activities, so that your heart will flower, and you will be rid of the individual attachments. In the process you earn great spiritual merit, that would help you, in your spiritual persuit.(and heavens as well)
4. Moksha(the ultimate dissolution of the individual entity into the cosmic being) - All life is only a means, to reach this highest spiritual attainment, called Enlightenment(called Moksha).
Therefore we had four ashrams of life called Brahmacharya, Grahasta, Vanaprastha and Sanyasa.The word ashram means shelter implying that the person takes shelter successively in each of the four stages during his life’s journey.
When India lost touch, with its true spirit of spiritual awakening, it degenerated, in every other way.
GET BACK THE VISION OF DHARMA TO THE VEINS OF OUR COUNTRY, AND IT WILL RISE LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES.

Well that’s all good but when Hindus are fighting for their survival I don’t think this is the best time to spend more time turning in and trying to bring yourself under control..Lord Krishna didn’t preach to Arjun to just go and meditate or get a harmonium out and start singing bhajans in the middle of the battlefield now did he ? He told him to stand up and fight.. True enlightenment comes in your action towards Dharma .Now sex is the powerful desire for many so you can try to spend a whole life time suffering trying to control it and you can go crazy in doing so what type of enlightenment will you achieve then ? Sure some people can control their desires naturally or at some age but not all..And im not trying to justify promiscuous behavior either because we know in the west where that’s leading to and that’s to total self destruction but I think we shouldn’t see sex as an obstacle in the way of spiritual development either..

-because study of our culture is no-more existence in our own land. But this information comes in bits an pieces. And whoever starts speaking something good, we start believing him. Why?
During 1000 years of invasion the vision of India is lost as all Gurukuls were destroyed and study of their own vedas banned in their own land. The culture which contributed number system, astrology, astronomy, ayurveda, natyashastra and many more was all eaten up and destroyed.
What remains now is distorted base as nobody studies our culture anymore.
Purpose of life used to be enlightenment but now lust & greed are purpose.
This kind of frauds are an embarrassment to humanity. We need to get the true wisdom back into our study only then these frauds will perish.
