SHOT GUN AT ART OF LIVING ASHRAM: Sri Sri better drop Gandhi, embrace Osho
I was at Sri Sri Ashram at Kanakapura Road in Bangalore yesterday when a gunman tried to shoot him. However, I was at the 20,000 seater Yagya Shala at his Ashram. Sri Sri had just finished his satsang and was getting into his car when the bullet missed him and grazed the leg of his devotee who was standing near him.
Who could have been responsible for the assassination bid?
I am afraid to say that it was just a secular land mafia in action. There is nothing anti-Hindu about this assassination bid.
Sources told me that the Ashram management was very keen on taking over the land adjacent to his ashram. The attack was plain secular as it concerned land grab bids.
I have always been critical of Gurus like Sri Sri who do not call a spade a spade. It is high time that they shed their front door-back door deals and get real like Osho Rajneesh.
… but Sri Sri seems incorrigible.. he seems to have gone on a lofty non-violence drive stating that hostilities cease in the presence of non-violence. Swell logic… but it is not rooted in reality.
My advice to Sri Sri: “You may be a world-famous Guru. Get real. Call a spade a spade”.

Well said Ravi PIllay.. at least the intelligent seekers come to know SSR’s way of answering questions. He never answers the serious questions of a seeker but just makes him to deviate from the question. I am not questioning his level of knowledge, but definitely he is not the one for a divine knowledge seeker. Innocent people do not understand that there is no “adjustments” or “compromises” in achiving spiritual platforms. One has to be serious in his devotion as guided by our ancient scriptures liek Bhagavad Gita. According to me, SSR can be a good social worker, but definitely not a guru. He is the guidance for easytakers of the spirituality. His answers are always funny and I laugh at him many times while he takes the questioner for ride to nowhere! All this drama seems to be very funny for me! My intention is not to hurt any of his followers though but this is what I have realized after interacting, watching and speaking to him couple of times.

Mr. Pillai I think you have asked some useless questions to Sri Sri so they thrown you aside. can you please write what questions you asked. Please careful while asking the questions. keep the aim of getting answer to your question. Don’t try to check the knowledge of Saints by asking questions. keep your ego aside while asking a question.

Dear Mr. Pillai
To critically analyse and to be critical of everything are two different things. I suggest you first critically analyse yourself and understand if you can call a spade a spade or is it just diamonds you seek. I dont know if Sri Sri is a saint or a man of God….and frankly it is not a quest I am on. But the individuality of the man and his work across the Globe speaks of his virtues and honor. To call a spade a spade in our “Melodramatic” Media will cause a commotion that will flow endless debates on worthless topics.
I wish to understand….why such a commotion if Sri Sri doesn’t care some body shot at him. Why do people have a problem him being so UNAFFECTED????
Life is a journey….but why are people so bothered about other peoples life than their own?? I am not a follower trying to preach. I just wish to make a suggestion…Instead of telling him to be realistic …i hope you understand that he is unaffected by the situation and continues to do his work for the people.-That is the REALITY of the situation. THAT IS THE diamond i point to.
